Temporary Enlightenment

I opened my eyes that day
And realized I hadn't had a
Wakeful moment in many days
My actions set to autoplay
Missing out on the uniqueness of every breath
It's not now not all the same
But how soon am I going to forget
This consciousness that unconsciously slips away
